Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation is planning a Thana Plaun hydro electric power project in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. The project involves setting up of a gravity dam with a storage capacity of 44.96 million cu.meters and a hydel power project of 191 MW.
The project cost is estimated at ₹ 1159.2 million. As of December 2018, the project is in planning stage.
