Orange Renewable Power Pvt Ltd is a subsidiary of Orange Renewable Holdings Pte Ltd, Singapore. The company operates a 19.5 MW wind power plant in Rajasthan which was funded in a debt equity ratio of 2.25 times. The plant consists of 13 WTGs of 1.5 MW each and was commissioned in March 2013. The entire Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) including Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services are provided by Regen Powertech Pvt. Ltd
The company is also developing 2 biomass power projects in Karnataka with capacity of 10 MW each in Dharwad and Haveri.
Haveri Bioenergy Pvt Ltd is a special purpose vehicle promoted by Orange Renewable Power Pvt Ltd to set up a 10-MW biomass-based power generation plant at Haveri District, Karnataka. It was incorporated in 2010 by Mr Murali Subramanian, Mr Gopinath Poolu Venkataramanappa and Mr Ranjit Gupta to develop, finance, implement and operate biomass-based power projects. AT Holdings Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based private equity investor, has a majority stake in Orange Power Holding Pte Ltd (which holds 100% equity in ORPL), with remaining shareholding held by the promoter directors of ORPL. The project was commissioned on July 25, 2014.
