About the Company :
RPP Group was incorporated in 1994 with an objective of setting up hydroelectricity generation projects. After years of exploring the available opportunities in the industry, it successfully acquired and completed its first hydropower asset, Guntur Branch Canal of Nagarjuna Sagar Right Canal with an installed capacity of 2.8 MW in 1998. The plant has been operating successfully.
The company has started Baitarini Power Projects as special purpose vehicle to develop 24 MW of Hydro assets located on Baitarani river of Odisha. The construction of this project started the work 2016 and the project is expected to go operational in 2018.
The company has retained Indo Canadian Consultancy Services as chief consultant and K C Mahapatra is (aged about 80 years and retired as Chairman, Orissa State Electricity Board) as advisor for the project.
