Meghalaya state government to set up 21.5 Ganol hydel project

Meghalaya state government is setting up a 21.5 MW hydel power project in Ganol in Chibragre in West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 3500 million and is expected to be completed by 2017. In February 2015, the excavation work had been started. The project is being funded through NLCPR funds
